    2025 World Schools Calligraphy Competition-Season 1

    【Purpose of the competition】

    The " Moyun Cup - Ink Dance: Chinese and English Calligraphy Competition " is hosted by the Global Art and Creative Culture Association, aiming to promote the beauty of calligraphy art and promote cultural exchanges between China and the West. The competition welcomes participation from all ages, including kindergarten group (K1-K3), primary school junior group, primary school senior group, secondary school junior group, secondary school senior group and open group. Participants are encouraged to create Chinese or English calligraphy works with brushes or hard pens to show the artistic charm of words.

    Participants can freely choose poems, famous quotes or original content to convey emotions and creativity through writing. The judges will score based on the brushwork, structure, creativity and overall beauty. Excellent works will have the opportunity to be displayed in the association's exhibition and receive awards.

    【Our Mission】

    The “Ink Charm Cup-Ink Dance Soars: Chinese and English Calligraphy Competition, ” organized by the Global Arts and Creative Culture Association, celebrates the artistry of calligraphy and fosters cultural exchange between Chinese and Western traditions. Open to all ages, the competition includes categories for Kindergarten Group (K1-K3), Primary Junior, Primary Intermediate, Secondary Junior, Secondary Senior, and Open Group. Participants are invited to create Chinese or English calligraphy using brush or pen, showcasing the elegance of written words.

    Entrants may choose poems, famous quotes, or original content to express their emotions and creativity through ink. Judging will be based on technique, structure, creativity, and overall aesthetics. Outstanding works will be featured in the Association's exhibitions and awarded prizes.

    Competition rules and statement:

    Participants must abide by the following competition rules and terms:

    1. All entries must be uploaded before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

    2. All entries must be the work of the entrants themselves and the works of others may not be used for entry.

    3. The entries must be original and will not infringe the rights of third parties (including intellectual property rights, confidentiality rights or privacy rights). If there are any violations, the entry will be disqualified from participating or winning the prize. If the entry violates any law, all legal responsibilities will be borne by the entrants and the Association will not be responsible.

    4. All entries must not contain obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, offensive, insulting or any controversial and inappropriate content. Otherwise, the entry will be disqualified without further notice.

    5. The entries cannot contain any commercial or political elements.

    6. The personal information provided by the contestants will only be used for competition contact and notification purposes.

    7. Please ensure that the contestants’ personal information is correct. The Association will not be responsible for any errors.

    8. Winners may not transfer their winning eligibility to other persons.

    9. Once the contestant uploads the file to participate in the competition, he/she agrees to accept all the terms and conditions of the competition. If the organizer believes that there is any violation of the relevant terms and conditions of the competition, it reserves the right to cancel the contestant's participation and prize qualification at any time. There is no appeal mechanism for this competition.

    10. Participants agree to abide by all arrangements of the Competition by the Organiser and the Organiser reserves the right to make the final decision, including the interpretation, modification, cancellation or suspension of the terms and conditions, prizes and other arrangements of the Competition without prior notice.

    11. The judging results shall be subject to the decision of the Association. Participants shall abide by the decision of the Association and shall not raise any objection.

    12. The Organiser reserves the right to make the final and binding decision on the Competition (such as competition format, eligibility criteria, prize eligibility, list of winners and prize collection arrangements, etc.).
